Spiritual Perfection ... a work in progress

Hello and welcome to the blog. This is the first post of hopefully a long list of insightful and helpful commentaries on the journey that we all, willingly or unwillingly, undertake, or refuse to undertake.

The deepest of most fundamental meaning of life is to grow spiritually, gain wisdom, and hopefully play a role of some positive use to society (unless you recuse yourself in a monastery, but even there, I assume, there would be some practical things in need of being tended to).

Not everybody grasps this, and some people spend their entire lives refusing to grow, or even to grow up. Don't be like them.  They're a saying "if you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat" and this is exactly what life itself may do to you.

I've found that when life gives me lemons, the moment I actually grow spiritually, reality has a way of falling back in line, tensions suddenly subdue, tribulations magically pass.

Then what is growing spiritually? Are we even willing to grow spiritually?

This is what the blog will be about. So brace yourself, this will be fun!
